Application Credentials
Some services expose their data through OAuth2, and connecting one of them to WoowTech means proving to the provider that your installation is allowed to ask on your behalf. The Application Credentials integration is where those OAuth2 client details live. It is the manual counterpart to WoowTech Cloud account linking: when a provider has no cloud-linking path — or when you simply prefer to handle the keys yourself — this is the mechanism you use.
When credentials appear on their own
A handful of integrations create their application credentials for you automatically the moment you add them. Google Calendar is one such example, so for those you rarely need to visit this screen at all.
Reviewing the credentials you already have
To see what is currently stored:
- Open Settings > Devices & services.
- Click the three-dot overflow menu near the top right.
- Pick Application credentials.
Entering credentials by hand
If an integration cannot use cloud linking, its setup wizard will steer you here. To supply the keys yourself:
- Generate an OAuth Client ID and Client Secret from the provider's own developer console — each integration's documentation spells out the exact steps for that service.
- In WoowTech, head to Settings > Devices & services.
- Open the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Application credentials.
- Choose the integration, give the entry a name, and paste in the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Save.
- Go back to Integrations and finish wiring up the integration itself.
Removing a credential
When a credential is no longer needed:
- Visit Settings > Devices & services.
- From the three-dot menu, open Application credentials.
- Find the credential in the list, open its own menu, and choose Delete.
